SEVERE TIRE DAMAGE ON
KOREAN TV

Severe Tire Damage appears on an MBC special about the Internet in January, 1997. At the time, MBC is one of only three television channels in Korea. The four-hour special features interviews with many prominent computer scientists, but none as important as Severe Tire Damage. The band closes the first hour of the special; is featured during the second hour; and returnes in the third hour for an interview with Steve. The torrent of fan mail from Korea continues for years. And all from the band that is correctly referred to by the Korean producers as "ridiculous".
